How to expand your veterinary practice with Facebook marketing?

There are more than 800 million users on Facebook. The high number of users on the social networking website makes it a hot target for advertisers. The veterinary physicians can use their Facebook pages for marketing. Facebook pages, and marketing with it is more about interesting content than anything else. Besides serious stuff such as your qualifications, and treatment, writing interesting posts about your clinic, and experience is the key. The pages which are more liked are the ones which take your marketing campaign to the next level. The content is all about entertaining conversations, faster replies to the fans, encouraging conversations. However, the same content should not appear everywhere.

1. Your Facebook page should be filled with content, you should write more posts, with more images on it. If you are not writing on your Facebook page, what it is for? For vet doctors, posting stories may be difficult. However, in the beginning, there may be fewer stories, you should begin small, with one or two posts a week. You can try to provide common information available on your website on the Facebook page, but it should primarily used for interesting content.

2. The cover photo on the Facebook page is important. It is the first thing you notice if you reach this page. You can post an impressive image of your clinic. You can post images of some pets on the Facebook page. People who visit your Facebook page want to know the doctor, you can post the picture of the veterinary doctor.

3. Besides content, and images, contests can also increase the popularity of your Facebook page. It doesn’t take much time for a contest to get more fans, but you should have an idea on what type of games, and contests can connect with your fans. You can run a contest on you r Facebook page regularly, it keeps your fans engaged. Many times the veterinary physicians have no idea what kind of games, and contests they can run, they can get help from some popular games, and contests on Facebook to create their own contests.

4. As a veterinary physician, running a Facebook contest is more about free giveaways to your fans, such as free treatment, discount, coupon. In one contest, the fans were asked to share the favourite version of a product with their friends, and send their personal details, and email addresses. The winners are given prizes. The fans could participate in the contest with their mobile devices.

5. Many times, you may fall for believing likes are more important, therefore you may write more interesting content. You may forget about writing content which is relevant to your profession, and clinic. You should also write about your qualifications, and treatment options.
